Some corporate bootlicker is calling it “slacking off” and said it makes him sick. Like, I'm doing exactly what I'm being paid to do, why is that a bad thing or considered slacking off?
Online job applications are bullshit
I love how all of these companies will write a gigantic fucking paragraph of all the duties they expect of you and have a huge list of requirements you need to have, but somehow conveniently forget to write what the fucking pay or schedule even is. Has this ever happened to you? Because it's happened to me around 30 fucking times these past couple weeks. It's even worse when employers reach out directly to you saying shit like “we saw your resume and are impressed with your experience, come apply to our position!” only to find out the job listing makes NO mention of the hours whatsoever. So you write back to ask, and get an answer like “Oh yeah, this position requires availability any day of the week during the morning, afternoon, and evening.” And then you have to write something back like “Oh, so you weren't impressed by…
Join the republican party, they gerrymandered there asses and shit, why not run for them all we gotta do is spew hate speech, talk about making women rights illegal, and also don't forget to say trump 2024 a lot. Oh and talk about how democrats are somethings they are not and spew things about thing taking our guns. Sadly they are this stupid. Then after we have enough “Republicans” we can pass progressive laws. Oh they can't do anything as A. Recalling is harder in red states since you know, they want to keep power B. Only reveal yourself as progressive when a majority is in place and also try to compromise with democrats on abolishing gerrymandering and put it in the state constitution. The abolishment is enough to prevent republicans from winning in some swing states. C. We also have majorities in states as gerrymandering gives us more power…
employer stopped giving me shifts
But HR tell me that I'm still an employee. Mostly coming from, but can't prove, when I looked to transfer departments for better money. Should I just quit and move on. Is there a BC law of some sort i can use to get a few shifts while I'm looking for a new job?
Had my second child in the beginning of August. I have been with the same company for 3 years. I’ve watched them grow into a million dollar company. I reached out about coming back at the end of September. I kept getting no clear answer about my return. Finally after 2 weeks of bull crap. I get told they no longer can accommodate me needing off on Tuesdays anymore (due to mental health appointments. It’s been this way for 3 years now) that they only hire full time employees. I don’t fit into their business model. So working 32hrs a week to them isnt full time.
