Wish I could be as late for work as my Pay is

Don't tell me 'Pay day is Xday' when, 90% of the time, I don't get it before 9:30pm. I just wanted to take MY money and do something for myself on my day off, but no. I get to sit around as my pay slips into being officially 24hrs late, still not received as I type this the following day. No reply from managers. If I was this late for work, I'd be fucking fired but I guess they can be as late as they want with no repercussions, and I get to eat the potential cost of late fees

Wasn’t paid for a working interview, now what? (ID)

Hello labor experts of r/antiwork! I applied to a job on Indeed and was contacted by the owner of the company to discuss details and set up a paid working interview. I would be helping a driver deliver CostCo items such as fridges, TVs, a sectional couch, etc. for a set daily pay. We arranged to do it this Tuesday at 7am and he gave me an address. It was a great day that finished up at about 4:30 and I met with the owner afterwards. I told him my initial thoughts, he asked for my CashApp/Venmo to get me paid for the day so I sent him my CashApp (Yes, it was a huge red flag, but I was pretty sold that he was a legitimate contractor so didn't think much of it). He he wanted me to call him the next day to ask any questions I might…

Does anyone know if its illegal to straight up lie about pay/commission upon accepting employment (either in state of North Carolina or federally)?

Wife accepted a much lower paying position within the company she works at with the understanding that she would eventually get commission along with her hourly pay, basically trying to sacrifice financially for long term higher earning. (coworker who was hired to said position with her was informed the exact same thing as well) but it turns out that the employer withheld information regarding the commission and pay situation which has obviously resulted in financial loss for us that would not have taken place if she was informed correctly about the pay. Are there any laws against this, what can we do about this situation?

Advice – manager messed up my end of year review

Alright y'all I need any advice about what recourse options I have if any. I did a really good job at work this year, and was told I would be very happy with my year end review. My manager sent me my review comments before our discussion and I noticed that despite all positive glowing comments, I received a below 1.0 raise/bonus factor score, basically you met your job requirements but didn't do great, specifically I performed low in comparison to my peers. I'm not comfortable bragging on myself, but I worked hard, I always volunteer to take on more, my shit is always on time with little to no errors, etc. My manager was completely surprised when in our discussion I said I was disappointed in my score. She didn't realize it would affect my raise/bonus and she didn't realize it wasn't a very good review. She apologized profusely,…
