Many of us can’t do so due to constraints outside of our control (such as feeling uncomfortable doing so in public), and you are doing good praxis in reclaiming your labor value.
Just spent nearly an hour in a webinar just for them to announce they only pay commission for a role that's 40 hours per week. So in other words I'd be working full time but only getting paid if I make sales, despite the job posting not specifying that it was a sales role. Immediately left the meeting and recinded my application.
