Antiwork

I’m so fed up with the treatment around here. I already have my email drafted and typed out. I’m just wondering if I have a good reason to send this in. If I say something to her, she could report me for something inappropriate because she’s done it before where she reported something I did. I hate reporting stuff but it’s not in my best interest to be confrontational. Plus why the downvote? I’m asking a question that I’m unsure of?

the reason why is that recently i have started getting congested the SECOND i walk in the building and yesterday i was SUPER sick by the end of my shift. i have asked 5 other coworkers, 4 of whom also experience either a runny nose or a cough as soon as they come in the building. (we are not all in the same department.) i googled what to do about it but it seems like in order to report i need to actually find the mold? is that correct? i’m in MO. i would rather not go to management with this because i don’t trust them. i also will only work here for 4 and a half more weeks but would hope to have this addressed by then for my coworkers sake.

Here just to complain. We have a team meeting every week, and although yes I am introverted and hate these waste-of-time BS meetings because of that in general, I absolutely cannot stand the few people who start talking about alllllll the work they’re doing and get into details so they look like they have a shit ton to do. ESP. this one piece of shit who works maybe half the hours I do, yet has the audacity to send me more of her fucking work while we’re in the meeting. Every week too my boss goes around and asks us all specifically if we have anything for the ENTIRE GROUP and these shitholes are going on and on about their individual or “partner” work to look good in front of my idiot boss. Man do I hate this culture and these types of people. 1.5 hours of listening to them…

This isn't directly related to anti-work but I figure most people here are subjected to ever increasing rent from a face-less corporation. My rent has increased over 40% in the last two years and I'm tired of it. Most of these property owning rental companies use an algorithm to determine a fair market price and often engaging in market collusion just so they can screw you over as much as possible. Has anyone worked for these companies know how their algorithm functions? I would like to work with people to break it. There's nothing illegal, their algo takes in biased inputs regardless so it's just changing it as we see fit.

I'm in NY state. I was under the impression it was the law to provide workers with a paid break of around 10 minutes if their shift was 4-5 hours.

I (38m) work as an inspector in various cities in the greater LA area. My boss writes the schedule for what time I have to be at the various construction sites. We are recently under new management who has decided that everyone needs to have a company phone. Previously we used our personals and were compensated fairly for the use. Does anyone know if the company can force us to keep the GPS on for the company phone?
