Just got fired for the first time
Just got fired for the first time. It was only a temporary position that I knew I wouldn’t take regardless of if they offered a permanent position or not and I was already looking for another job but it’s still a punch in the gut. I’m glad to be out of there at least. For those wondering, me and another employee exchanged some words that were not pleasant, mostly about him needing to respect people more. Well boss called me into the office and told me I need to listen to the other employee, who was the same level as me just for reference, and when I tried to explain my side he just flat out told me I needed to go home and to give him my keys for the plant.
I’m actually not busy, so I’m usually browsing reddit, but I don’t want her to assign more work. I feel like she knows I’m not actually busy because she hasn’t assigned me a lot of work, so I can’t say I’m behind. How should I answer this question next time she asks? We meet every other week. This is for an office job. I’d also like to say I was busy to get a higher raise/bonus
