Unemployed because I got screwed out of an IT manager position from a ‘failed drug test’ for THC in California

Are there any options (even if it's just the BBB)? I feel like this was really shady and discriminatory Summary/TLDR: I'm now unemployed because i got an offer letter and was strung along by a company with an archaic drug policy and shady recruiting practice that waited over a week to rescind the offer while assuring me they wouldn't… So I left my job, they pulled the offer, and now have nothing… [Note* Either there's a formal policy that rejects all medicinal use in which case It should have been rescinded over a wk ago when I told them and sent my medical info (before leaving my current job) Or there is a policy that accepts medicinal usage in which case how does a chronic condition not apply… ] Background: *Company sends me an offer letter of my dreams Shows up a week later with a drug test for background…

Royally fuck the people who approve of things, only to complain about it later.

I made a presentation, manager approved said presentation. Presentation was given, manager complained during the entire presentation. He does this shit all the time. You make it unclear what your expectations are, you say what I created is fine. If you want it a certain way, then do it yourself.

Just found out that someone who was recently hired to the same position as me at my workplace is getting $3/hr more

After nearly 5 years here, I've gone from $15 to $18, and they've hired them at $21… I'm so exhausted and depressed, I wish I could quit. I'd organize my workplace if I knew how, or were good with people. The bosses praise me constantly and acknowledge the quality of my work, and then stab me in the back…

I don’t work weekends

Manager: Can you come in this weekend to work. Me: Nopes. No can do. Mgr: Why? Me: Busy. Mgr: It's Sunday, what do you have to do on Sunday? Me: I like cleaning cobwebs. So I take a long handled broom and walk around the neighborhood asking random people if they would like me to clean their homes. Mgr: What kind of reply is that? Me: It means – What I do on Sunday is none of your business and don't ask me that question again unless you are dying. And FYI if you are dying I'll assume the office is closed for next 13 days in mourning. I will of course send a nice condolence message to your home with a bouquet. Mgr: This work needs to be completed before Monday. Me: No. I've sent the last batch to customer on Thursday asking them to give feedback by Monday…

What is a NTV form and do I have to sign it ?

I know this isn’t job related but I googled to see if I have to sign this in order to not continue my current lease and I have found no answers. I absolutely cannot stay at this apartment any longer they have terrible reviews and are a major money scam and there’s a list of reasons I want to move. All of their reviews say that the tenant has cleaned even hired a cleaner and they still charged them from damages. I don’t want to be screwed over so do I have to sign this in order to move? Why would anyone be charged for pet reasons or a carpet cleaning fee isn’t that what the deposit is for?

Trying to get back into human healthcare, and everywhere is understaffed with too much work and no benefits…

One place I interviewed at has awesome hours, but their way of keeping track of new patients and things that need to be done is really poor. It's all on paper. They are majorly backed up with work. They only have health insurance. Employees were kinda dull and didn't interact with me during the working interview. Second job admits to being extremely understaffed, but the staff was really friendly and easy to get along with, and open on what was to be expected and how it would be busy. They're corporate, but I was surprised that they had insurance but no 401k. It seems the only high paying, legit WFH jobs I can grab are at temp agencys. People who work healthcare, is this the norm rn? I've been gone from it for 2 yrs. I feel like I should just take the temp jobs. I'm on a time crunch…
