Work is for the Strong
Work is for people that wish to do something with their lifes. Work is to show the world what you are capable of. Even through hardship the strong work. Banning me will prove that those that don't want to work are just cry babies who think success comes without effort. My advice is not to work as work is only for the strong.

Was given a pay cut
After about the 6 month mark of working real hard at my job and expecting a raise as promised in my contract, instead given a pay cut because they claimed that funds were tight at the company. Then they made two hires that same month and I also discovered that they weren’t paying into my pension and also owed 3 ex employees money as well. I quit my job the following month and handed them back the company laptop. The boss asked me to go over the code with them, but I told him that I couldn’t since I already formatted it. He looked at as if I had just strangled his kitten then told me to go home. But later, he started to harass and attempt to bully me into resetting up the computer and finishing up the work, which I bluntly refused unless they paid me the outstanding…
A union may be for you.
I follow this sub but don't comment or post often because I can't relate to any of the stories. My company/management is horrible just like yours but I am part of a large union. We don't work for free nor are required to work outside of our job descriptions. Everyone in the company takes their paid time off. It's time to stop fighting the unions because your boss, parent or politician told you they were bad. Get your life back. Organize and unite! Also, stop answering your phones on your day off. That's just weird.
Some thing I noticed
Often a lot of questions I see asked , it seems like no one read the employee’s hand book, working contract when they started a job. Or bothered to check with local labor laws. Most of the time it’s pretty clear what is allowed and what isn’t allowed . If you have no employees hand book you had to sign or a workers contract ie explains what is expected, hours , work type, rules for taking time off etc. it goes to state laws which are more often then not more restrictive. For example I’m a CNC programmer was asked to clean out a machine that had 4 year old coolant that was a bacteria infection waiting to happen. I told my boss no and he flipped out. I told him I program the machines my job duty’s are that and that alone. It was brought to his boss and…
