I ultimately ended up taking short term disability at work for recent health issues. The benefit was approved right on initial submission and paid within 7 days of filing it and approved once more prior to it getting closed this month. The short term disability at my work is paid direct from the company and the insurance company is the claim management. Anyway, the strange thing was after my last doctor visit I sent in my visit paperwork to my case manager that showed upcoming visits, treatment plan and even the doctor recommendations to continue short term leave due to inability to adequately perform my job duties. The claim was then shortly after not extended for the next month as per their closure response was that my condition no longer would stop me from doing my job duties. And more importantly, why is it not getting called out? Lmao you guys know you were never asked to load up gift cards for your boss. It's amazing how the same triggers in this sub keeps getting used in more zany and ridiculous ways and yet the majority can't realize how bullshit it is. Just like the constant bathroom posts. How should I respond to this? I told him that I was unable to make it into work this morning and in respond he said “Here’s the phone list so you can reach out to cover your shift.” My shift is in 4 hours and it’s 6:50am. I really don’t want to call anyone, just to be rejected by every person. What should I do or respond with to be respectful? Thank you.

Hey everybody i just wanted to post this and get it off my chest and hear other peoples thoughts on my situation, i'm 20 and i have been working for a custom home building company for 6 months now. I work monday – friday 7-5 sometimes go in on saturday's to help prepare for the up coming week. The company is very unorganized and extremely belittling.
