Horrible boss/ review bomb?
My gfs boss has been foul to her and the rest of his employees since he bought the place last year, constantly calling them dumb bitches who cant do anything right even though he spend no time training anyone. Yesterday she had enough after he called her a fat worthless tub of lard and quit, well now he says hes not going to give her check to her till tomorrow out of spite. So im asking everyone to please go to Laurelville Pizza and leave a nasty review to reflect the owner
Work summer break?
Why do salaried positions not offer summer break to employees or some sort of rotation of an extended break? Imagine how productive everyone would be if every 3 months worked you got a month off. Obviously you have groups of employees who are off on different months so you don’t go out of business but it seems like that would help tremendously prevent burn out and improve productivity.
I’m so tired of job applications…
I posted on here a while ago about how I wasn't getting any responses on job applications I had been applying for. Some feedback that I got on here said that maybe it had something to do with my resume. So I listened to reddit y'all and let me tell you… NOTHING!! No change! Still getting ghosted by employers despite paying to have my resume and cover letters professionally written to be ats-optimized for the 'algorithm.' It's honestly so laughable at this point I'm not even mad lol. My resume looks amazing now and I was impressed by what the professional did, I really thought this would work after seeing the end product. And just to put it out there I do have plenty of experience working so I don't think it has anything to do with me. Fuck these employers posting about job opportunities and crying about how “no…
I don't see much use in floundering to survive in a country which, let's be honest, is run by wealthy individuals who undermine the will of the American voter by greasing palms in Congress enough to get their way anytime they feel like it. Lobbying has done so much to hamper the progress we continue to vote for that there are now more laws protecting the powerful from the weak than vice-versa, and I don't see that changing anytime soon – not within my lifetime, anyway. Yes, I understand what is necessary in order to keep a roof over my head and the lights on, and I would be more than happy to comply, if there were more in it for me than simply paying rent in order to continue going to work. I understand that in a job, there are subordinates, there are peers, and there are superiors, and…

Do you have to sign?
When I was in my 20s I had a bully for a boss and the day I was gonna hand in my 2 weeks notice I was told to go to hr where they had me sign a piece of paper saying what a bad employee I was. I signed without thinking since I already had another job lined up but always thought back and wondered should I have signed that paper? Was I under any obligation to?
