I just can’t help but feel like there is some kind of manipulation behind these type of games. Feels like being trained to be an operator of a robot that does farm work? Or what about the games where the people are stuck in a well or the mother and daughter are cold so the game is to make sure the coal goes in their fireplace ???

So this post is a bit different, most on here are employees complaining about their bosses, I own a company I solely operate and my definition of anti work is anti customer. I see a lot of posts complaining about bosses hitting them up on days off, telling them to come in now or they are fired, etc. This story popped into mind, I was in the hospital, literally the day my newborn daughter was coming into the world and my customer who is very well aware of this says she needs me to come install her new fence because her dog is escaping her yard. No work had been started, the same fence that was installed when they moved into the house was still up. Lady, not my freaking problem right now. I look back now and can’t help but laugh. I’ve worked at GM for about a month or so and they’ve had us working mandatory 10 hour days 6 days a week. It’s absolutely draining and destroying me mentally. I have no time for anything and all I do is work,sleep,work,sleep,work,sleep. I have a bit of money saved up and ive been researching on how to convert my vehicle into one that I can “live” in and camp out with. Am I making a bad decision? I just can’t do this anymore. Everyone around me is gonna look down on me if I do this too sadly but I gotta focus on myself for once.

Yeah, that’s the problem
UK. My boss has been cutting my hours really badly recently and I got the flu so I had to take 2 days off (I work in food) and they have now reduced mine, and only my, hours to 0. It's a Christmas period and I need the money, I have rent to pay.. I texted my boss saying “I have no hours over the next 2 weeks…” but I'm going to have to apply for a new job. This is just a real kick in the face while I'm already down. We have a work party on Friday and I'm going to go because they're paying for the food and I haven't eaten properly in days, but I'll mention that I “can't afford to stay out because my hours have been cut”
