I’ve (37F) worked since I was 15. Only took 1 month off after I had my first child at 20, another month when I had my second child at 25. I was in a T-bone accident last year that has left much nerve and muscle pain, up to 15 monthly migraines, as well as a fractured right arm. I have been in physical therapy since December of last year and nothing helped the painful and limited movement and sleepless nights. I was let go from my office job last month and after allowing myself to be upset for that week, I took it as a blessing. I’m finally getting my rotator cuff surgery as well as a hysterectomy. I’m fucking pumped. I’ll finally be pain free and can enjoy life again. So you know what? Fuck putting your health on the back burner. Fuck working later to make up medical…

Resignation Notice (2019)
What do we do about a wage mistake?
My wife has been working for a company in Utah for 3 years, and was making a manager’s wage. She recently stepped down as a regular employee, and they told her her wage would decrease (obviously.) She has recieved a few paychecks since stepping down, but didn’t notice until recently that they are still paying her the manager wage. Once she realized, she saved the excess money aside in case they try to claim fraud or something. Should she reach out to them, or wait for them to come to her? Any advice? Can they legally ask for that money back?
Going back to the hellhole called work.
I was unfairly terminated from work last December 2020 which was a bummer at first since I really need it to sustain my everyday life. Ever since then, I've decided to become a full-time volunteer, teach kids in communities who can't access education, help out a few people especially in times of calamities. However, right now, I've only been running on fumes, my savings is already gone, heck, I haven't even eaten anything today. It looks like I'm gonna need to go back to working. I'm just hoping at least I get a good paying one. But I'm really dreading it.
Job wants my finger prints
I think I'm going to quit if they make me do this. Incredibly disturbing. I do not trust some random place with my finger prints. Insane invasion of privacy. This isn't even some government job either.
