Bye bye blue bird.
Facts or nah?
Hi I’m new here just call me Socks. I’m a designer I appear as a workaholic but I’m not my bosses are just dickheads. So I’m planning on quitting but just after I get my bonus and then off to KL! Maybe disappear for a month or two idc. Haha that’s about it for me hi!
My work has adopted this thing where , if you're sick, you have to show up to your shift, you can't call in, unless YOU find someone to cover your shift. Flu season is coming around and I have to have surgery. Because my surgery was delayed to the day before Thanksgiving, I still have to work the day after my surgery for 11 hours. They made my coworker work from 10 -4 throwing up the entire time. I'm at a loss of what to do and I'm worried I'll have to change gauze pads in a place I can't even see for 11 hours and I'm hoping I wont be in any pain. With the way things are going, since I called out on a Thursday before my surgery was scheduled and had to find someone Friday to cover my shift. I had to work all day Saturday ,…

A simple Christmas wish list
That's what my two girls have. I can't promise we will even have a Christmas right now. We have a Thanksgiving due to the kindness of others. My husband and I work in a VERY SMALL taphouse. I just recently posted about his bosses weird prorated salary. I found out today he's trying to pay me salary, at a rate of $10.50 an hour. Then, I looked at my hours. This last pay period it says I worked 30. I worked over 100 hours. I'm exhausted from asking for help, scrambling for bills, shopping, and arranging and attending any interview I can. I don't have the time or energy to explain to him our current state laws, or federal, for that matter. I don't even know how to find someone to help me.
