Not only that, but they wanted me to write a letter to congress saying that I don’t want a minimum wage or benefits. So I clicked their link, erased their canned response, and wrote this. It’s not the most eloquent writing but I hope it gets the point across.
no time off allowed in december
I have never had a retail job till now and I was wondering if it is normal to just not be able to have time off outside of your days off during December? I also heard that the RM was gonna essentially see who will be requesting time off as a performance evaluation criteria to cut hours after holiday because she only wants people “who want to work here”. Pretty sure that's blatant retaliation tactics but she said it only to our manager so I can't do anything about that. My coworker said they already mentioned to her that they won't be able to see their family this year bc of the time off restriction and she just said “haha sorrryyyy”. (I hate this company so much) TLDR: If you try to take time off in December, your hours will be cut (essentially quiet fired.) Is this normal?

I’m not looking for advice or anything, I’m just venting because I feel gross and irritated that I can’t do much. Yesterday I had to text a coworker to get his rsvp for our company holiday party. This dude has always creeped me out and I avoid being alone with him when I have to be near him. He responds that he was “just thinking about” me and that his thoughts would “get him in trouble.” I ignored his gross comments and got the name of his wife (who literally just had a baby) and their dinner order for the event. But he just kept going. He went on (unprovoked might I add) that he wishes he could lift up my dress and pin me against a wall.
