So several months ago, during a text conversation with my supervisor, who is a white woman, she sent me a gif of the N word. I am also white, and have never used that word around her or given any inclination that I do or would be comfortable with a white person saying that. Now on the the petty part of this. Over the past several months she has also made my life a living hell. Constantly underming me in front of my team, setting unrealistic goals and threatening my job if they aren't met, showing blatant favoritism to others on our team, the list goes on. And when I confront her with my greviences it's always twisted that I'm taking things the wrong way, or I misunderstood, or they just don't care. And her supervisor constantly backs her up. Multiple employees has left because of this toxicity and I'm…

Amazon DSP asked to fraud DVIC
As the title suggests, I was asked to lie on a DVIC. I'm a new Amazon employee working for an unnamed DSP. Went through my 3 days of training excited for yhr new opportunity, I really enjoy driving. On my first day of driving, it was messy getting started. My DSP didn't explain any of the warehouse specific instructions and I ended up having to ask about how to do most things. I'm not too annoyed by this, it seemed the dispatch team is younger than me. I'm 25 so I'm fairly young myself. My concern came when it came time to do my DVIC, which for those who haven't worked for amazon is a Daily Vehicle Inspection Checklist. Its a HUGE checklist, which I believe is at least partially regulated by the DOT to make sure all vehicles stay safe and roadworthy. One of the dispatch members told me…
Coworker treated me like a joke
There's this guy ( let's call him tony) at my job who usually drives me home from work even though we work in different departments. He's been a great help these last few months and has even donated his old clothes to me and given me free pizza. I'm forever grateful for him but today he said something that really stung me. I was in his car and he was telling me a story about one time when my coworker( let's call him paul)/came up to him. Paul asked Tony how come he/doesn't wait up for me when I'm leaving for work. There have been times when I had to walk home cause Tony couldn't be bothered to wait an extra minute. Tony simply responded with ” I have shit to do” and told me he found the story funny. Why am I a punchline to some stupid joke? I…
I was taken advantage of by management. I was young and naive. In my early 20s. Basically, management came to me, took me aside from work and was somehow able to convince me to do things for them that I now find horrifying since leaving that situation. Like convincing me to send private text messages to them between me and my supervisor, private emails, getting me to write a written statement for them etc. Management paid for my lunch, seemed level headed, sweet talked me, let me stay home with getting paid. I didn't know i was manipulated until I talked to my doctor, family, friends, acquaintances, people who knew management but weren't involved. They all said I was manipulated and that I need to block them The company is doing fine now. I guess I feel resentment towards myself for letting them treat me like that. Its like I…
