I wrote part one (Profits are theft) in response to a meme post that had almost all it's comments removed because people didn't seem to understand what it was saying without an explanation, so here is that explanation. Landlords: people or companies making money (profit) off of an essential human need – housing – without doing any work/labor to earn that money are another form of the owner class stealing money from you (the working class). Before you jump in with “but landlords provide a service! They allow people without a down payment to have housing, and some of them even do their own maintenance on the property! I work for a mobile carrier company as a customer care rep and for 20/h (23 in the weekends) plus Amazon/Ups/government level of benefits it’s pretty dope, everyone including your bosses can be treated if they are your friends, you get paid incentives every month (500-800 a month) when you collect money from bills being past due, address every customer’s reason for calling and any adjacent issue and also get paid commission for every phone, insurance, line added that you sell to the customer (is way easier than I thought it was going to be considering is my first sells job) and the best thing is that you go to a 9 week (may vary) training program and they will teach everything about the company, the job, how to actually do it, training calls and real calls and man oh man I cannot ask for nothing better they even got…
