Getting frustrated with favoritism
Who has dealt with workers that somewhat new but they more hours than you ? I been there for 8, her 1. So how do I bring this up ?
I know this would be a bit hard pill to swallow but american individualism and short term sight are the main obstacles to achieve true equality. Issue is that almost every American have it very hard to stop thinking only about himself and start to think communal. Moment they live well off, they dont give a flying F about others. Second issue is that they dont realize true equality of socialism is a long term goal. If you start fighting today, you wont reap the benefits tommorow. Or not even in a year. 5 years. 10 years. But your children will. They will enjoy those fruits and pass them forward. This is Chinese people’s republic way and it pays off hard. They plan ahead in long term. In span of 50-100 years. And look what they have achieved in those 100 years. Parents working hard soo their children have it…

Am I getting axed?
I didn't get a COL raise this year after a lot of senior people in the company did. I complained and asked why but got no answers. It fucked me up in the head a bit. I had also been promised a promotion at the end of the year but my boss got a promotion and the new bosses are pretending they don't know anything about the promised promotion. I complained about that and asked why and got no answers. They've been trying to get me to do lower-level work even though I was hired in a leadership position. I complained about that and asked why but got no answers. It feels like they're sick of me complaining and I got a meeting put on my calendar for Monday titled “Meeting”. It has my boss and the COO (but not HR). Is this a bad sign or possibly something good?…
I work at a software company today, 3 days a week from the office and 2 days a week from home. When I work from home, I barely work – sometimes I can even not log into work at all, stay in bed, watch movies, go to groceries shopping, doctor appointments, etc. I got tired of it. I feel like I don't do enough, I feel stuck. My current plan is, that I can have a few interviews, get a contract or two, which about 20-25% raise from my current salary, and preferably another position for example software developer. Once I get those offers, I plan to go to my HR and say something like: “I felt like I could earn much more somewhere else, so after checking I got X salary from another company, I really like it here, can you help me stay here by offering a higher…
