Just got fired from an awesome wfh job… need help deciding how to get over it tonight
In short, got hired at a job that I legit don't know how to do, started to feel like a corporate fall guy for something, so I'm dipping. How do you tell a manager who has been great that you're super quitting like immediately

bad job post
Working a shit pizza job , and our manager got a promotion. So we get a new manager, She's a 20 something brainless blonde and I don't mean that she was actually blonde because she dyed her hair. She comes to the store and starts putting her foot down” you can't wear brown belts”. okay that's company policy we'll follow that, The next day she shows up in a white belt…. You must show up to work in uniform I don't want you wasting time on the clock, The same week she rolls in clocks in and then runs into the bathroom to change. She for some reason blurts out “someone with a dick go clean the restroom it's disgusting” . she also has her boyfriend sitting in the fucking lobby all day, talking about pranks he's pulled on people that would honestly get you sent to jail. At this…
Screw Terrible Leadership
I just need to rant into the void for a moment. I’m a low level management employee at a small to midsize organization. We’ve had lots of leadership changes the last few months, and anyone with a brain can see we are a sinking ship. For me, it’s particularly sticky as I’m a woman in a boys club management/leadership wise, I have a higher up actively trying to tank my career at the company and gaslight me, when I notified the CEO he basically told me ignore it, and the icing on the cake? My new direct supervisor seems to hate communicating with clients (we are a client facing team…) so he pushes his work off on to me. This company went from an organization I was proud to be apart of and believed in for six years, to an utter dumpster fire in less than 8 months. Worry not…
Lunch hour
My boss today asked me if I was willing to change my lunch hour. I asked him why and he gave me some vague, elusive answer. I then told him that my lunch hour is the only part of my day that I get to look forward to. He responded by saying “It'll come sooner then!” WTF is wrong with people?
I recently quit my corporate management job. I don't want to get into too much detail, but my previous job was very demanding with practically no rewards. I was entitled to pretty significant bonuses that I never ended up getting. I worked there until the point of burn-out, but I'm super excited to share that last week, after almost a year of hard work, I launched my own company. It feels so good to be self-employed, and to finally work on what I really love and am inspired by – music. For those interested, I have been playing guitar pretty much my entire life. I always saw it as a “hobby”, yet music was the one thing that I loved more than anything else. The company is called Wheel of Fifths. It is an online community for musicians. I'm sharing free music and music theory lessons on my blog, and…
