Why is it that when someone is doing better than you, your immediate retort is to shit on them and try bring them down/belittle them? 100% agree there are a lot of shit business owners who absolutely fuck their employees over but holy shit some of the comments I've read here just scream jealousy.
Apparently, this shitty ass company took too long. They conducted three freaking interviews… It was a senior-level position. I am being told that they still aren't confirmed. I had told my previous agency that I would be moving to a new company. Now I have to apologize for them. Thank God I haven't burned bridges yet. I was learning quite well. It was a remote job though. Still, what to do with these assholes? The CEO took my interview and told me that it is OK from my side. But I got news today that they arent confirmed. It is a new role, at a young startup. What should I do? Ghost them or send a denial letter?
I feel screwed over
So I work at a call center in Honduras. This was my first official job and the call center was brand new when I started back in December. I was the first employee. A couple months in they opened more positions and I recommended my cousin, he got in and is still working here. I had no idea about how call centers work, so I didn't know they usually have a hiring bonus if you recommend someone. Then more people came in, and they started recommending people, and they got a hiring bonus. Literally everyone else who's recommended someone has gotten that bonus, except for me because it wasn't being implemented back then. I feel so screwed over, and even more so considering that the people they've recommended are all gone by now, my cousin's still working here. I don't know, just wanted to rant about this I guess… I'm…
names are random names. So I live in a home with staff, as a disabled person. One of the staff, John, everyone loves. All the residents, that is. He resigned! Under pressure of distrust! I don't know if what the supervisor did was an allowable thing? Here's the situation: Last week I and some other the residents complay to Jared, who works for a different organization to support some of the residents outside of our house's org. And Jared says, we gotta do something about this, to the point that: we the residents, actually have a class action lawsuit. So today I find out, John isn't here anymore, and one of the other residents told me that they heard why: the supervisor, Samuel, asked John and the other employees if everyone trusts everyone, and john says, do you trust me? and Samuel say, no, and so john resigns. That's the…
I’m lazy and not ashamed to admit it.
Management and TOOL
So I worked in an Apple Store for 4 years. The year we received the infamous HomePod. We were in charge of promoting it by playing music and presenting it to the customers. However : we were supposed to promote the music that was trendy at the time (so the worst of the worst) My managers were always breaking my balls when I was shifted there, saying I was playing “unfriendly” music (I was playing some Rolling Stones tunes, BB King, Queen, Motörhead sometimes …) That bitch of a manager was always breaking my balls in particular “oh you should change it, rock is making people scared you know” So one day , august 2019, I was shifted there, and I started to play tool last album Of course that bitch came immediately and put on a face that you makes when you smell like shit whenever she heard the…
