not just because junk food tend to be cheaper. a big problem no one really talks about it is just the sheer lack of having the funds to actually get out and do anything. weight lose isnt always about actually working out. its about a general level of being “active” you can never go to a gym in your life and still be in good shape as long as you are active. but when you have little or no money it shuts so many doors in life that your options for being active become less and less. if money wasnt so tight maybe i'd go try and new hobby or just go window shopping. maybe if it wasnt so tight i would go bowling instead of just watching tv on a sunday. those little trade offs add up and its showing. more and more people opts not to do stuff…

TLDR; I am (or rather was) on my way to get a significant pay hike based on the structure of my company and how it rewards performances but I'm being deliberately given bad ratings so that I don't qualify for the pay hike. Tonight I was in the last our of my shift and there was literally nothing for me to do.
