I worked for a big television production company, I landed the job a year before the lock down and it’s eventual demise but for an entire 16 months I was working from home updating their massive backlog of IMDB credits. Someone before me made a step by step guide on how to input the credits into IMDB but they’re way meant you can only input 1 episode at a time, making the job tedious BUT I found a way to populate entire seasons and I only needed to input information once, I was able to cut down 40 hour week into 2 hours; I just then every Friday would update an excel sheet and get a good job even got free meals 3/4 times a week!
I’ve worked in the business for over 20 years, low wages, shit shows, long hours; felt good to finally get a little compensation.
