Throwback to when my ex-boss called me out for leaving without the other 15 minute person when we had to shut down the building early due to a heating system failure. Everyone was leaving and clocking out and I just followed my coworkers out as we already completed all the closing duties. This, and many other minor passive aggressive digs are why I decided to leave that position. On their own, the digs weren’t a big deal, but having to come in and be subjected to the constant passive aggressive attitude was not it.
Several other coworkers jumped ship before/after I left as well. They loved their job, just not while that boss was in charge.
