Passive Aggressiveness is not the way to keep staff

Throwback to when my ex-boss called me out for leaving without the other 15 minute person when we had to shut down the building early due to a heating system failure. Everyone was leaving and clocking out and I just followed my coworkers out as we already completed all the closing duties. This, and many other minor passive aggressive digs are why I decided to leave that position. On their own, the digs weren’t a big deal, but having to come in and be subjected to the constant passive aggressive attitude was not it. Several other coworkers jumped ship before/after I left as well. They loved their job, just not while that boss was in charge. Have you guys experienced passive aggressive bosses or supervisors? the other 15 minute person left shortly after I walked out of the building-I waved goodbye to her and we drove home our separate ways
