Possible OSHA violation?

I work as a cashier at a grocery store in Minnesota. Today, a corporate guy came to our store (we just upgraded our registers so he was checking in – from managers account, he isn't exactly a “nice” person). He yelled at one of my co-workers for drinking water at his register. The corporate guy told our manager that no cashiers can have or drink water at their register, which I guess manager agreed to and told us thet starting tomorrow do not bring water. Which sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Kinda livid about it, is it worth reporting?
