Pregnant partner and work

Hello all I’ve been away from work to care for my pregnant partner, for about 3 weeks. She has recently been shown as positive, and with it has caused both of us to overcome physical and mental issues. This has ultimately made me feel demotivated to work, as I have no sleep pattern and no routine revolves around d the well being of my partner. Hello all

I’ve been away from work to care for my pregnant partner, for about 3 weeks. She has recently been shown as positive, and with it has caused both of us to overcome physical and mental issues. This has ultimately made me feel demotivated to work, as I have no sleep pattern and no routine revolves around d the well being of my partner.

I am not sure if I am being too weak, but I’m just mentally exhausted. The work in itself is stressful and now with my partner pretty much relying on me for support has put me in a difficult position.

How do I balance work and being supportive to my partner? I’m suffering from insomnia from the stress, she’s hallucinating at night and I am expected to still somehow wake up in the morning for work?

I had a informal chat with my manager asking for support and was pretty much told this will need to be escalated to upper management. She also said she wanted to discuss me work in general, so I’m probably expecting some constructive feedback on how I suck!

I just don’t know how people do this and any advise will be much appreciated.

Thank you
