I work in a kitchen in a nursing home, hardly the most high-profile job, but it's paying my bills so it's what works. However, my manager has been being particularly shitty to me and no one else.
She was cool at first then recently she had just taken a left turn after one of the cooks left and started targeting me. She will get on my case about doing things that everyone was trained to do but for some reason when I do them, it's a bad thing. She never stays consistent with how she wants things done and then ridicules me for not doing it the way she wants which fluctuates on any given day. She has been giving me more and more work and when I do it just fine she gets mad and then switches up my responsibilities. She will pull me into her office and tell me to 'stop being defiant'. She has also gotten super petty in the same respect of a high school mean girl. We are allowed to listen to music in the kitchen on a speaker, and she will turn mine down and then tell other employees 'it's just because she doesn't like me'. Normally I would not care but this is all targeted at me and other employees have asked if I am okay. I want to go talk to the admin of the place and or HR but she is super buddy-buddy with them.
What do I do?
