Nothing compares to Barbie…
All of our 17 showings per day for Barbie are a fucking chore. Trash everywhere, popcorn spilled, drinks spilled on the floor with not one person contacting an employee beforehand for a simple heads up. Every time I work now is absolute dread. Our job is not to be your maid, it’s to help you enjoy your film and go home happy. I should not be spending upwards of 40 minutes cleaning an auditorium full of trash…
And on top of that, a large sum of customers where I live are entitled assholes. Yes, we know it’s expensive but it isn’t our fault so when your popcorn and drink cost $15 don’t threaten to kill me please I can’t handle it any more I have gotten two death threats in the past 3 hours because of minor inconveniences. I have had to kick people out for vandalizing our lobby and harassing other customers. We don’t deserve to be treated that way and things like this are why people hate going to the movies and why employees hate working there.
