I have called out of work 2 times & am occasionally late by 3-6 minutes. I had no idea any of this was a significant issue until I was blind sided today. There is a head manager at my work, who I have never met in my few months working here, that called me into the back office today when I clocked in. He essentially was writing me up for the things stated above, was confused if we had ever met before, then also lied either on purpose or accident about an incident me being late by 30 minutes – which was a time when I was early by 30 minutes. I didn’t correct him because I was still processing what was happening…
essentially I just signed the form acknowledging I was being written up. Then he unscheduled me for today and the rest of the week. And told me I could just go home and work next week instead
I still really don’t know how to feel about this , nothing negative has happened at my job so far. As far as I’m aware there hasn’t been any issues with my employment
If the issue was truly about me not being super punctual, regardless of how much I get done while working, then why the fuck would he cut my hours ? I didn’t even get to check my schedule for next week because I didn’t feel like I was welcome to stay longer
