Productivity Email

So at work today my department received an email frob the supervisor: it stated they ran a report and it told them there are discrepancies in the amount of work done by each of us. Basically saying some people are doing more than others. They want us to provide suggestions as to how to resolve this, like changing workflows or re-assigning tasks. They also want all of us to offer to hrlp each other if we have down time. My issue is, is that all of us working in the department are working our butts off. We are constantly being asked to do more than is required, but still get emails like this from the supervisor. What is the best was to respond to an email like this? I just think it is really easy for administration to claim productivity is down based on an algorithm, but they aren't on…
