In 2010 I was promoted to program Chair and was required to go to corporate office for additional training for 3 days. While receiving training I learned that my position was based paid at 40k more than my current wage. The other chairs I worked with also were underpaid. That 200k for us was deverted to enrollment for bonus incentives for the sales department. In those 3 days of training I decided to quit and leave during those days,. Most of the funding for the for profit college was deverted to management instead of classroom supplies. I had been working on 10% of the budget that my program was entitled to.
When I reviewed all of this with my Dean she dismissed all of my statements.I produced all of the proper paperwork to began to get the funding to the correct places and she ended the meeting. I completed all the paperwork and submitted it. An investigation was launched and I was notified that due to our division being sold to another company at that point in time that the investigation was paused 3 days after being started. After the company was sold we were all notified that all full time positions would be eliminated because all of our employment contracts had been with the old owner and some people would not continue on with the new owner. Guess who got the axe ? This guy
