I recently left my full time job, to take a promotion at my part time job. The workload was lighter but relocating meant I couldn’t keep my former FT job as PT. Loss of income.
My current FT job has annual raises and it’s about that time. I was told I wasn’t eligible for the raise because I just received one…. I disagreed, I was promoted not given a raise.
AITA for this argument ? I took on a whole new position with increased responsibilities. I didn’t get paid more to do the same job.
