I worked remotely in Arkansas for a company based out of Missouri, and was laid off at the end of March.
During that final meeting, i was assured that my PTO was earned and I was entitled to it, so they would pay it out with my final paycheck.
Our payday was Tuesday, it was not included. They did not respond to emails. I called the HR manager yesterday, she said the boss had been out of office for the start of the week and she was unaware that was to be included, but would resolve it that day. That has not happened either.
Do i have any options or am i just screwed? Also, its been two weeks since i've filed for unemployment and it hasnt been approved. Are they involved in that process as well and could be hindering it?
