Question from a long time lurker

Outside of the obvious, pay us more, better benefits, and don't be a dick demands we expect out of employers. Is there anything within workplace culture that you guys would like to see from companies? I've worked about 15 jobs in my 20s including companies like Panasonic, Bank of America, and the Army Reserves. I know what I'd like to see in a company but I want your guy's opinion. I just started up my own company and while I don't see myself hiring someone right now I want to make sure that if I do grow large enough to be able to hire people, that they are treated well. Paid well, work life balance for family's without worrying about pay, and good benefits should already be accounted for rather than trying to scrape by milking everything for profit. I don't care if people see me as the boss and just don't like me for being one, what I care about is holding up my half of the employment bargain and giving someone an actual living. Don't let me be like the rest. I'd even be interested in things like profit sharing for employees. Let me know 🙂
