Quiet quitting is just doing the job you’re paid to do

People keep making it seem like quiet quitting is people just not working, which isn't true IMO. I used to be a “Rockstar” employee that gave it 110% at every turn. Want 5 rush projects done with an insane turn around time? You got it! Come in early, stay late, and pick up extra tasks? Sure thing! Now I literally just do my job. Nothing more, and nothing out of my pay grade. At first I felt bad and like I was lazy, but that's years of conditioning from employers talking. You want above and beyond? You gotta pay for it, bitch.
