So, I'm just gonna say this, don't pay minimum wage if you expect more than minimum effort. This was a business transaction. I agree to work til 2pm, not 2ish, not whenever it's slowed down, but 2pm.
When ol boy clocked in, as manager, it's your literal job to make sure someone takes over my station when my shift is over. But you wanted to abuse that and have me stay working like I don't have a life outside of taco bell, I ended up late for my meeting right after work. Fuck capitalism, and fuck anybody who thinks they own my time outside what was agreed on.
