I am currently hired on an RPO- model.
The RPO is a great company and the client I am currently working for is a good client as well. However the business unit I have been assigned to is located in the most racist part of town. I am the best performer in the team yet I keep receiving the most complaints and escalations for the most ridiculous things while my peers who are performing half as good as me are having a soft life at work.
It feels like there is an agenda to get rid of me.
I am tired of the racism and I am looking for a new job. The issue is I don’t wanna leave my RPO employer as they are actually great. I would like to be assigned to another client within the RPO.
The issue is before I can apply to another client Through the RPO I would need my currents managers approval and she doesn’t wanna let me Go due to my performance being great!
They have been fighting for me which I appreciate but I am sick of being treated like shit from the business unit.
I prefer staying within the RPO as I have been there for almost a year now.
I am looking to apply for a mortgage.
If I completely changed my employer I would need to pass the probation period again before being eligible to apply for a mortgage.
My work place is slowly starting to affect my life/health. I am seeing myself thinking of work and incidents outside of work. This is not good!
I am stuck in a reallly shitty situation and don’t know what to do.
I asked my manager to be assigned to another business unit but she refuses.
I also don’t wanna talk about exploring other options within the RPO before securing another job.
But can’t even look without having a conversation with her first.
What would you advise?
