I go into work the other day and before I'm clocked in I'm in a meeting with my boss and my boss's boss. I know I should have clocked in. Anyways I'm being told there is going to be an investigation with me because some people in the office said I said something racist to my friend who is Hispanic. First I would never. They tell me after this investigation is done and they find that I did say this racist thing you will be fired. I was in shock. If it matters I'm a White Female. Someone in my office has been trying to get me in trouble/fired for a few weeks now. I was getting in trouble for the smallest things and this one finally broke me. See I call people my little beans it means I find them sweet and cute. Someone took me saying the word bean and added the racist slur to it. I talked to a few friends and asked them if I had ever said anything that they found offensive and they said no and if they did they would tell me straight up. I ended up walking into my boss's office saying I quit that I feel like someone out to get me and I'm not a Fucking racist and slammed the door. (no one from my office reached out to me btw) which makes this a good decision.
This is a family-owned business with LOTS of nepotism and favoritism
