Requiring a doctors note for something is so stupid

I get people abuse the system. My work doesn't offer sick time. Unexcused absences are pointed offenses. Excused absences no points you just don't get paid. Let's say an employee makes 200 a day. To go to the doctor costs about 100 to 150 on my ins. Why are you forcing employees to fork over more money when they are already too sick to work and losing money. Especially if its for something they can't do anything for for example kidneys stones, normal cold, stomach bugs etcetera. Why the hell can't I say hey man I got kidney stones its an on going issue its bad enough im missing out on several days of pay and several hundred dollars. As long as the employee doesn't abuse it they should have this policy. Just seems weird to pay even more money and leave the house when you should be resting to…
