I got hired not long ago. I previously asked my boss if public holiday are paid. He replied “after 1 year of employment”. Later i looked up the law it clearly stated employee are entitled to paid public holidays after 1 month of employment. So today I emailed him about this to clarify my rights. Right after the email i was fired. Shady company that violates employee rights!!! the company
