“Dear hiring peeps,
I'm sorry you have to read cover letters but I hope you read this because why require it otherwise. I want this job because I need money and this seems like a less morally fraught option than most of what capitalism offers. I am shooting my shot praying that your job description & slick website aren't disingenuous. If this isn't what I hope, I will lose steam quickly so please don't lie. I really wanna do good in this world but I need some grace because I'm so fucking tired.”
