Anybody else tired of the new semi-monthly pay cycles and jobs paying nothing but calling the position salary but non exempt? I always ask the pay range in the interview. Employers response is we pay salary not hourly and the pay is $41,000 a year. Well that equates to $19.71 an hour low end pay for my field of work. Employers should just be upfront and say the pay is low and benefits suck. Which means your “salary” will be even less because benefits will take atleast 20%. In today's market anything below $50,000 a year is still poor.
