I think it should be illegal to make someone interview 6 times, call references and then make them do an intensive presentation just for a mid level sales job. At least hold of on the three references until after an offer is out. They told me the other guy got it mainly because he wasn’t being represented by recruiting agency… then why even get them started on search? Over a month of my life wasted. They knew my background. They could have at least said no earlier and I wouldn’t be as pissed. Any other similar stories?
