hi everyone I need a bit of advice. Last Wednesday I had a virtual interview with a non-profit and about an hour later, they sent me a request for a second interview, in-person for today (Tuesday). As luck would have it, I started getting super sick Sunday so on Monday I email them to let them know I wouldn't be able to come in, and could we meet at the end of the week or early next week. They wanted to meet virtually but I declined letting them know I was far too sick for that (I can barely eat crackers). Today of course as luck would have it I tested positive for covid so I let them know, and they are asking if I can meet virtually on Thursday because they would like to make a decision by the end of this week. This is my second time unfortunately having covid and last time I was sick for over a week, so something tells me I won't be better by Thursday. So do I try to suck it up for half an hour for a virtual meeting or tell them sorry and let it pass? This job is a one year contract and pays okay (not great) so in theory it wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't get it, it's just I'm currently jobless so I do need to work towards employment and having steady income again. I'm feeling kinda miffed they aren't really caring that I'm sick?
(I also posted this in r/work but looking for a range of opinions)
Thanks in advance!
