I've recently been made redundant by my company, and they've informed me that I don't need to serve my notice period. To be honest, I'm actually quite glad to be leaving, as the work environment has become quite toxic and there's a lot of politics going on (which led to my redundancy).
However, my coworkers who are still employed are not very tech-savvy and explaining everything to them could take some time.
I'm feeling pretty bitter about being let go, and part of me wants to leave them stuck not knowing what to do as a sort of revenge. On the other hand, I don't want to be a complete jerk and leave my former colleagues in the lurch.
What do you think I should do? Should I help my coworkers despite being let go, or is it fair to leave them without assistance since I'm no longer obligated to help them?
