I took a job with my apartments last Sept. when I started working, 2 weeks in I was not trained and left in the office for a week alone to perform managerial tasks that I didn’t have clearance for so my boss could go to a company retreat in Den. When she got back she tried to write me up for doing something incorrectly when I wasn’t trained on it. When I brought it to her attention she said she wasn’t mad she just had to go over it with me.
During the next few months, I noticed how unprofessional she was. Calling the tenants bitches behind their backs, adding charges to their accounts for stupid stuff. She even entered a young ladies apartment after the young lady relayed to the office that she was going to move bc her bf was stalking her without permission. Her and maint broke the lock and changed the locks. Without the girl knowing. Her son in law was working there without proper paperwork bc he was on probation. They left tenant keys out with identifiable tags. (Door numbers on keys)
She needed a foot surgery that would require her to be out of the office for another month. Leaving me to do all the work. They said they would “send help” but that person wasn’t a manager and just started working shortly after I did. I was still not trained up until this point. I got Covid and I sent in my paperwork. Her boss proceeded to tell me my docs were fake bc she called care now and they told her I hadn’t been. 1. That was a direct violation of my HIPPA rights since the job did not pay for my visit. 2. She never actually called, she just thought it “looked funny”.
So I called her out on it through text and she said to provide a signed note from the dr. I said no. I provided paperwork and she “assumes” it’s not legit that’s on her. I told her I wasn’t down for being left in the office alone anyways so I quit bc she lied blatantly for no reason about my Dr note.

My old manager is back and I am behind on rent. She sent a 3NTV. but she also requested that I give them permission to enter my apartment without a reason. I told them I’d bring the key today but I didn’t make it bc I got caught up at work. They proceed to text me and say they are going to change my locks for me if they don’t get a key by 11:00 AM the next day and charge me. I have 2 big dogs so I told them they are out and I don’t consent to them going in without me there. So I called to find out why they needed entry to my apartment. The help answered the phone and used his “per law” they can enter an apartment at any time bc they own it. 🤣I recited the lease to him regarding entering and he got quiet. The manager was In the background telling him what to say so I said let me speak to her. I said “you must’ve forgotten that I’ve worked in your office and the leasing industry for years and we both know that’s not true”.
Long story short somehow they don’t have a key that works to my door so they need to make a key. I told them I wasn’t paying for their negligence especially since I haven’t changed the locks since I’ve been here and I’ve been here 3 years.
I have recorded convos and proof of the misconduct, intimidation tactics and harassment of other residence and myself. Should I file a civil suit against them?
This is the second time they’ve tried to go in my apartment without permission. Last time my pit wouldn’t let them in so they said I had 3 days to move bc an apartment downstairs was “stinking” bc of my apartment. Which they found later it was a leaking pipe in the walls and not my apartment.
