So I am in a weird place with my current job and would like your feedback. All opinions are welcome.
I began this job as a manager starting pay was $66,120
I received a merit increase in March which elevated me to a total of $68,268 and I was very happy with it.
The company now is starting to put pressure on me to interview for a senior management position. Currently I am already trained and know how to do everything for that role. My only issue is that the offer they are making me is for $70,500.
Personally I feel that such a small increase for additional responsibility is not great. I also feel that there's more to it. My boss wants to promote two assistant managers into my current role which basically means she needs to make room for one more manager and the only way would be to promote me so both spots are open. What do you all think?
