I started working as a para with special needs kids in my city’s schools district earlier this year. They have me going to a new school later this month and I was supposed to go there for training today at 8 AM. Showed up at 8 on the dot. Rang the bell 5 times, called the front office twice, nothing. I stuck around until 9 then ended up going home, and still have heard nothing. Not only did I miss out on the training I need, I also missed a days worth of pay. Just pissed about the whole thing.
