So exhausted from being denied for jobs or losing them in favor of some kid with a degree.

I had to drop out of university due to economic reasons, not for lack of ambition. But, even if I had never gone to university, I can guarantee you that my skills and performance meet or exceed those of most people with even a master's degree. While many of them were spending sleepless nights, cramming for tests on seemingly abstract material, of which they would only absorb about 15% of with any level of semi-permanency, I was actually out there, DOING the job and learning the majority of those details in an applied, and therefore fixed, manner. So, you are trying to say that my nearly 20 years of experience is less desirable than that of someone with a brand new degree and whose experience is limited to a 3-6 month internship which mostly consisted of them punching in to float around, getting coffee for the boss and filing papers…

At the risk of sounding egotistical: you'll never know how good you could have had it, all because you opted in favor of glancing at a resume that said “___ degree in ___” submitted by someone who would rather be scrolling through TikTok right now, as opposed to giving the time of day to someone who actually wants to be there.
