So my job is pending layoffs for next week and I texted a coworker for info about a former coworker and she hasn’t responded back yet she’s on teams right now. Should I message?

My job in government contracting has a contract that is ending next week and I had an interview lined up for today and it was cancelled due to the job not being available and there being no need for it as the explanation. I was prepping for this interview since last friday. So I'm still looking and I asked for the number to this MS teams coworker so I can apply at a job that a former coworker whose number I lost works in so I could contact her for a referal and she gets some of that referal money. My coworker who is also in my team and on MS teams hasn't responded to my texts the last few days. I sent her 2 but she's on MS teams and cheerfully wished everyone a good morning when she logged in. I applied for the job that the former coworker…
