If I dont get anything out from the system or the system tries to screw mw – I will do my best to either sabotage it – or do my absolute minimum.
Take the “low skilled workers” that are ridiculed: I cant wrap my head around how “low skilled” workers somehow dont deserve a decent wage – yet the Boomers 60 years ago were a low skill generation and got paid more than educated people today.
Everyone knows the boomer stories of “had no HS started as a janitor and worked himself up to be boss of the company”. Some are of course hyperbole – but many were not. People who had no HS or only HS could start nearly everywhere – learn on the job and advance.
Nowadays people with degrees earn sometimes less than HS Boomer – people are forced to get degrees to even get the chance for a job HS was enough for 60 years ago. And they have 0 chance of advancing.
Why then would I want to work?
