Some humor for your Friday evening…..

A quote from an email I received today from my supervisor: “I appreciate everyone meeting the company's expectations but in order to meet a deadline goal of two weeks lag time, we sometimes need to exceed productivity expectations” Background: I am a medical coder/biller. I am the team lead, but this was addressed to my team of 3 (including myself). On average we see about 900-1000 patients per day. The daily quota is 200 claims per day. All 3 of us exceed that every day. Every. Single. Day. And yet, because of math, we are still behind! 🤯🤯 I wonder, as a supervisor, what this woman could POSSIBLY DO to address this issue…..
