Stop Normalizing Texting over E-Mailing your Employees!

To make it worse these texts not only come at all times of the day, but especially after hours. Boomer boss who uses work as an escape from his wife and kid that hate him. All he does is think about work, and at any given moment, when he has an idea, has to impulsively send a text so his highness doesn’t “forget.” Texting is such an unprofessional way to communicate with your employees. Cell phone use has always been justified to be used “in case of emergencies.” Texts with simple instructions or as a response to an email that could have easily waited until the next day, is not a fucking emergency. If for every 30 sec text or call my boss made to me after hours, would sanction him to pay me for 3 hours, I would legit make more than my full time job.

He’s also one of those assholes who sends 5 texts with 2 words each instead of forming a paragraph. Any delayed response, his response is nOoNe WaNt’S tO wOrK hArD aNyMOrE.

When his eventual burn out manifests into a health issue I won’t feel even a little bad.
